EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH: “GIZ SKYE”, financed by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany would like to procure “Basic Welding Tools” with the following but not limited specification:
• Lot 1: Wall Industrial plug, 30mm Armored Cables, Drilling Machines, Bending machines, Metal workbench vices, venire height gauge, steel marking out plate (Engineers Surface table/marking out table)
• Lot 2: Centering square, material, craftsman tool storage cabinet, die stock, adjustable tap wrench, scribers, Try Square, Protractor, Measuring Tools set, Engineering hammer 200g, pairs of plier set, set of spanners, Allen key wrench, Screw driver, screw driver, Hack saw, Frames and Blades, Steel Metal Scissors, Chisel Taper pin Punch-pin-punch-centre punch, file set, precision, files set, gripping plier, safety welding helmet, drill bit set, tapping tools set, counter sink, original hack saw blades, grinding discs, cutting discs, electrical grinder, grinder discs for table grinder, sandpaper, welding wire, welding electrodes, 3-Tier rolling welding cart with gas cylinder, welding gas for MIG machine and cylinder, set of screws-bolt and nuts, mild steel tubes-round, galvanized steels tubes round, mild steel tubes rectangular, Flat mild steel bars, square mild steel angles bars, Mild Steel angles bars, Metal Sheets.
Accordingly, GIZ invites interested bidders to furnish GIZ Nigeria Country office with the following:
a. An Official letter expressing their interest.
b. Concise company profile
c. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and Memorandum of Association clearly indicating business area in relevant area.
d. Bank introductory letter,
e. Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years clearly indicating (minimum) average turnover per year (as applicable) for:
Lot i: 10,500, 000 naira
Lot ii: 8, 500, 000
f. Evidence of experience with previous similar jobs (supply and delivery of Basic Welding Tools with values that add up to minimum of:
a. Lot i: 10,500, 000 naira
b. Lot ii: 8, 500, 000
For consideration for the tender, all interested consultants should submit the aforementioned documents either as hard copy in a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at, No 12 Charles de Gaulle Close, Asokoro, Abuja labeled

Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated no later than Thursday 6th April by 5pm from the date of this publication will be accepted and considered.
