Request for Proposal No.: NGA-RFP-013-24 – Group Life Insurance 

Dear Sir/Madam:

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has received a grant from various Donors for the implementation of the humanitarian aid operation. In line with the Pension Act 2004, DRC is requesting for Group Life Insurance Therefore, the DRC requests you to submit price bid(s) for the supply of the item(s) listed on the attached DRC Bid Form Annex A.

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is intended to solicit information and proposals from qualified insurance companies capable of meeting DRC’s needs, for its various locations in Northeast, Northwest and Abuja . The Supplier (“Supplier”) selected will have significant expertise in the areas necessary to meet the needs and requirements outlined in this RFP. Critical criteria of this evaluation process will include the Provider’s ability to share data and provide services that meet our mutual needs. Through this RFP process, DRC desires to enhance service efficiency and minimize costs and risk, while at the same time providing the Supplier with the incentive to successfully perform based upon pricing

                 Important information regarding this RFP:

• This RFP is launched to establish a framework agreement with the supplier for the supply of Group life Insurance services for 12 months.
• An extension of 12 months is possible with the request of Purchasers and approval from Supplier.
• A Framework agreement does not bind DRC to place any Purchase Orders. DRC will place orders to the awarded supplier based on the agreement as per its requirement.
• DRC may choose to cancel the agreement if deemed necessary.
• DRC may choose to split the contract award to more than one supplier.
