REMODELING SERVICES IN MOLECULAR LABORATORY AT THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE JALINGO, TARABA STATE
1. BACKGROUND
Jhpiego Corporation, an affiliate of John Hopkins University, is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve the health of women and families throughout the world.
We seek quotations from interested vendors for the remodeling of Molecular Laboratory at the Federal Medical Centre in Jalingo, Taraba State in the following category of services as stated below.
Interested vendors should ensure that assessment is carried out prior to submission of quotes. Selection of vendors will continue to be made on competitive basis and on merit, as well as consideration for best value for money, good quality, acceptable delivery period.
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
a. PLUMBING AND REPAIRS
• General plumbing work, provision of toilet for both sexes, procurement and installation of tap head, piping system and 5,000 litres overhead water tank to serve the Molecular Laboratory.
• Repairs of toilets and fixing of toilet for use by staff both sexes attached to the molecular lab inclusive of flooring, tiling, suspend ceiling and aluminum roofing, excavation, WC, washing hand basin, piping, burglary proof, installation of doors window and associate carpentry work.
b. PAINTING
Painting and screeding of the Molecular lab area internal and external as well as all affected area of construction work.
c. ELECTRICAL WORK
General electrical work for the remodeled molecular fixing of 13 amps and 15 amps socket, general wiring, water heater, change over and connection of power from generator to the remodeled laboratory, installation of thunder arrestor.
d. FURNITURE
Construction and fixing of connecting doors in between rooms in the remodeled laboratory, cutting and fixing of bid doors, other purpose made doors, cutting and fixings of windows, glass block, supply and fixing of aluminum 900 swing doors.
Vendors should focus only on the areas of their expertise as supporting by CAC registration document. Vendors with capacity to perform more than one category of service are free to apply for more than one service category.
2. QUOTATION SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
All submissions must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Invitation to bid for the remodeling of Molecular Laboratory” inclusive of the under listed.
• Proof of license to offer required services as given by the responsible regulatory body (if applicable).
• Lead –time for completion of service (if successful).
• References to organization where similar service have been carried out successfully including the Names, Addresses and Phone Numbers of contacts persons
• All submissions must be duly signed by authorized signatory or official representative of the building organization.
3. CONTRACT DURATION
At the successful delivery of all items as on the approved Purchase Order.
4. ELIGIBILITY
All applicants should provide the following:
• Certificate of registration/incorporation, memorandum and articles of association and valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Vendor must be a licensed/authorized vendor for services to be rendered (please provide copy of supporting documentation).
• Company profile (briefing the core competencies, key management personnel and clearly stating the physical verifiable office address, mobile number and e-mail address).
• Proof or license to offer required services as given by the appropriate regulatory body (if applicable).
• Note that applicable government taxes will be deducted prior to making payment for the items supplied.
