CONSTRUCTION OF MOTORIZED SOLAR SCHEMES IN MISAU LGA, BAUCHI STATE
INVITATION TO TENDER AND INSTRUCTION TO TENDERERS
1. PREAMBLE
WaterAid Nigeria with funding from DP World to implement increasing access to sustainable Climate Resilient WASH for women in Bauchi State hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction of 3 motorized solar schemes in Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi state.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
LOT 1: Ruja Jeji Community
LOT 2: Bagan community
LOT 3: Gurduba community
3. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Companies interested in participating in the tendering process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:
i. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
ii. Evidence of company audited financial account and Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2021 ,2022 & 2023)
iii. List of certified Board members showing their designation on the Board.
iv. The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board or his alternate.
v. Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologist, Civil Engineer or Electro-Mechanical Engineer).
vi. Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and completion certificates within the past three (3) years, also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects;
vii. Certified copies of company bank statements in the last 6 months
viii. Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company; including proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment;
ix. A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and the number of days required to complete the work.
x. Evidence of site visits to the communities/sites in the form of photographic evidence.
4. ACCESS AND SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND COMPANY PROFILES
Interested bidders are to visit the Women Development Association for self-sustenance (WODASS) at No. 17 Tafawa Balewa Raod GDSS Junction, Dasse, Bauchi State to access the bid documents or call the following phone numbers 08065308457. A non-refundable administrative charge of N25, 000 would be paid by all interested bidders to account details that would be provided by the responsible officer.
Submission of tender documents shall commence from 18th April to 2nd May, 2024 between 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Fridays, except on public holidays. Completed tender documents and company profiles, which shall be in three copies (One original and Two Photocopies), containing spreadsheet copy of the completed BOQ and PDF copies of other bid documents are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s Name, at the top left-hand corner, and addressed to:

Sealed envelopes will be received at No. 17 Tafawa Balewa Raod GDSS Junction, Dasse, Bauchi State until 12 noon of 2nd May, 2024. Bid opening shall follow at 12:30pm on 2nd May, 2024 at the same venue.
5. MANDATORY SITE VISIT
Mandatory visit to the sites must be carried out by all tenderers. This visit will take place within the tender period. Tenderers are to take potshots of the locations as evidence of compliance.
