The AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK (AFDB) hereby invites firms to indicate their interest in the following assignment: Satellite Mapping and Remote Sensing of Acreage under Wheat Cultivation in Nigeria.
Context
In line with the Africa Emergency Food Production Facility (AEFPF) the African Development Bank is supporting the Federal Government of Nigeria to ramp-up food production through a Sector Budget Support Operation named Support to National Agricultural Scheme – Agro-Pocket (NAGS-AP). In November and December 2024, this operation delivered inputs to 107,429 wheat farmers to cultivate 118,557 hectares of wheat in 15 Northern States in Nigeria.
