SUBJECT: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR LPG DEPOT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
INTRODUCTION: Noretek Energy Ltd., a reputable firm in the LPG industry, is in the process of developing a new LPG depot. As part of our project planning and preparation, we are seeking to identify potential contractors with proven expertise in constructing and commissioning such facilities.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Project envisages the design and construction of an LPG Depot with features including 5 x 100MT storage tanks, distribution facilities, and safety systems. The project is located at plot 83/84 Paikon Kore Commercial layout, Gwagwalada FCT Abuja, Nigeria.
SCOPE OF WORK: The selected contractor will be responsible for the end-to-end construction and commissioning of the depot based on the detailed engineering design (DED) which will be provided upon contract finalization.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Civil construction and foundation work
• Installation of storage and distribution systems
• Safety systems implementation
• Quality checks and commissioning
Qualification criteria: Interested parties should possess:
• Relevant experience in constructing LPG Depots or similar facilities.
• Proven track record of timely project delivery with adherence to safety standards.
• Financial stability and capability to handle projects of this magnitude.
• Necessary licenses and certifications relevant to the industry.
Submission requirements: Contractors expressing interest should provide:
• Company profile including previous projects of similar nature
• Financial statements for the past 3 years or Bank reference letter
• Reference from past clients
• Any other material that demonstrates the contractor’s capability.
TIMELINE: Interested contractors are requested to submit their EOI by November 30, 2023. Post this date; shortlisted contractors will be invited to participate in a more detailed RFP (Request for Proposal) process.
