TENDER NOTICE
SUPPLY OF LOCALLY MANUFACTURED ANTIMALARIAL DRUGS TO NMEP OF THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF NIGERIA – TENDER REF NO: ITB/2023/45734
NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)
Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) has obtained financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) pertaining to the elimination of malaria in Nigeria and specific to four (4) states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory; namely Bayelsa, Edo, Enugu, Kogi and the Federal Capital Territory. This project will support the achievement of the objectives of the National Malaria Strategic Plan (2021-2025) in Nigeria, which aims to reduce malaria burden to pre-elimination levels and bring malaria related mortality to zero.
The FRN through the National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP) has requested UNOPS to undertake the procurement of locally Manufactured Antimalarial Drugs.
As part of the process, UNOPS Nigeria is seeking manufacturers/suppliers that can participate in this invitation to bid (ITB) under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the supply and delivery of locally manufactured Antimalarial Drugs to NMEP of the Federal Ministry of Health of Nigeria.
The tender was posted on 24th February, 2023 through the UNGM portal and the deadline for Bid submission will be on 15th March, 2023 at 12:00 GMT.
