| Overview:UN House Abuja is the main operational base of the United Nations System in Nigeria. It is situated at Plot 617/618 Diplomatic Drive, Central Business District, Abuja and accommodates the Country Offices of about 16 of the United Nations Agencies. Extensive rehabilitation work and upgrade of its facilities has been carried out recently to make it suitable and conducive for the UN Agencies. The buildings include offices, Conference halls and Meeting room facilities, Cafeteria, Dispensary, Library, Open spaces, Vehicle maintenance workshop, Storage and other ancillary areas. Facilities at UN House Abuja include (but not limited to) newly installed Mechanical & Electrical facilities, Passenger & Cargo Lifts, back-up power heavy duty generators and water reservoirs, fire safety systems, Extra Low Voltage facilities and electronic security systems. Some aspects of the support services related to effective and efficient facilities management & operation of all the Mechanical & Electrical facilities which constitute part of the common services require to be outsourced.The UN System Offices in Nigeria require maintenance service Contractor(s) to perform both scheduled and unscheduled work orders at UN House Abuja in the location address indicated in the TERMS OF REFERENCES.The Contractor shall furnish managerial, technical, administrative and direct operational personnel to accomplish all work aspects as required in this Contract.UNDP NIGERIA on behalf of other UN Agencies in Nigeria is hereby seeking the services of a reputable and experienced technical facilities management service company to provide prompt round the clock technical maintenance support services to keep the facilities optimally functional at all times, through a well-articulated & timely Pre-emptive, Preventive, Routine, Corrective maintenance plan of action.The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above-referenced subject.
