Job Title: Request for Proposal (RFP) for Car Vendor Services
Locations: Bassa, Jos North and Jos South – Plateau
Background / Context
- The Injectables Access Collaborative; a project implemented in Nigeria by JSI is conducting a study to determine the effectiveness of using the Integrated Supportive Supervision (ISS) tools in training and mentorship on DMPA-SC/SI service delivery for health workers offering family planning services in Nigeria.
- The research involves training activities in health facilities located at 3 LGAs (Bassa, Jos North and Jos South) in Plateau State. In addition, mentorship visits will be conducted at select health facilities in Bassa LGA.
- To facilitate the mentorship visits and end-line data collection, the project is seeking a highly experienced car rental vendor to support the research team for visit to health facilities.
- The visits will happen in two phases:
- The first phase involves visits to twenty-one (21) health facilities in Bassa LGA over the course of a maximum of (4) four days. The visits will be carried out by three (3) teams who are expected to cover seven (7) facilities each within the stipulated period. This would involve the use of three (3) vehicles on each day.
- The second phase involves data collection visits in Bassa, Jos North and Jos South LGAs. Each team includes four (4) data collectors who are expected to complete the data collection exercise over the period of a maximum of five (5) days.

Deliverables
- The first phase of the deliverables for this service is to convey the research team to 21 health facilities in Bassa LGA and back to Jos municipality, Plateau State between 10 – 14th June, 2024.
- The second phase is to convey the research team to health facilities within Jos North, South and Bassa LGAs between 24th – 28th June 2024.
Estimate days of work:
- The estimated number of days for this consultancy is four (4) days for first phase and five (5) days for the second phase.
Required Skills and Experience
- Functional vehicles that can convey research team to health facilities without hitches
- Dedicated and very prompt drivers with valid driver’s license.
- Committed drivers who understand the terrain and road connectivity in Plateau State.
- Any other requirements that is expected of an experienced a car hire vendor
