Background

The Nigeria Country programme focuses on Health and Human Development, Democracy and Good Governance and Sustainable Livelihood and humanitarian response.
Christian Aid in Nigeria is seeking to visually document the findings from its on-going research project titled: Examining the Relevance of Traditional Religious Leaders in Gender Justice Advocacies in South-East Nigeria. It is to this end that the services of a professional videographer and photographer is required. Successful candidate will produce a video documentary and professional photos from the upcoming field survey in Osoamala and Atani Communities, at Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Scope of Work and Technical deliverables
Working in collaboration with Christian Aid Nigeria MEAL and Communications team, the following guide the delivery of this service:
- The film should be produced in English, at highest market quality standards, high definition, fast paced and colourful, with clean stylistic touches.
- The total running time of the Video is 10 minutes.
- The entire film production encompassing filming, editing, voicing/narration etc., will be done by the consultant, delivering a final ready-to-air product in broadcast standards.
- The entire development and production process will be closely monitored by Christian Aid who will provide continuous review, comments and thematic inputs support when needed.
- Christian Aid Nigeria remains the Executive Producer of the film and will receive the
“final cut” of the film.
Specific Deliverable
- Broadcast ready 10-minutes video on Research Findings.
- Broadcast ready 60-seconds summary and 30-seconds teaser of the full documentary.
- 100 professional photos shot at wide and close ranges to capture moments during the field survey.
Timelines
The specified tasks are to be delivered within 7 days of work after Coverage.
Location: Osoamala and Atani Communities, Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State.
