Oxfam is a global development organization working in Nigeria to influence policy change to benefit the poor and vulnerable, focusing on areas such as food security, supporting farmers, and promoting gender and economic justice. Our organization’s core values include equality, empowerment, solidarity, inclusiveness, accountability, and courage. The Country Strategy (2021-2026) outlines goals related to accountable governance, gender justice, and just economies.

Securing strategic funding is a priority, and the organization faces challenges in responding to proposal requirements within deadlines. To address this, there is a need to identify expert resources across thematic areas. The purpose of the assignment is to lead the development of proposals aligned with the organization’s focus areas, drawing on previous projects. The goal is to provide technical input for a comprehensive proposal, including a log frame, work plan, and budget, in line with established procedures.

  • Understanding and interpretation of the TOR 
  • Methodology to be used in undertaking the assignment,
  • References from organizations on similar tasks were delivered.
  • References of won proposals and amount secured.

Please note that OXFAM will deduct and remit to the Federal Inland Revenue (FIRS) a 5% withholding Tax for freelancers or 10% for firms from the total consultancy fees in accordance with the Nigerian Tax Law.
