CHRISTOFFEL BLINDEN MISSION (CBM) INTERNATIONAL
CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO PROVIDE EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES TO THE CHRISTOFFEL BLINDEN MISSION INTERNATIONAL (CBM)
1. Background:
Christoffel Blinden Mission (CBM) is an International Christian Development Organization that works to improve the lives of persons with disabilities in the poorest parts of the world, and to prevent available disability. Over the years, CBM International has been supporting the Nigerian Government through various implementing partners in interventions, such as eye health, mental health, obstetric fistula and disability-inclusive development. In line with achieving the major objective for this mission, CBM International is soliciting competent firms to provide assurance services.
2. Scope of work:
The Scope of this engagement is in line with International Auditing Standards, donor requirements and CMB policy. Interested and competent firms wishing to provide the above service are to submit the following documents for verification.
3. Eligibility Requirement:
i. Evidence of the firm’s registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
ii. Evidence of the firm’s registration with professional certificate (ICAN), financial reporting council of Nigeria and practicisings license.
iii. The firm’s profile, including professional qualifications of the key staff, experience concerning similar jobs which have been successfully handles, audit software in use, etc
iv. Evidence of international affliations (if available)
v. List of clients
vi. Evidence of financial capability (bank reference)
vii. Audited accounts of the firm for the last three years.
viii. Valid tax clearance certificates for the last three years.
4. Duration of contract
The tenure of External Auditor shall be one (1) year in the first instance renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance. The tenure of the External Auditor shall not exceed five (5) continuous years.
5. Submission
The soft copy of the documents should be submitted in a PDF format and labeled the email subject “Call for Expression of interest to provide External Audit Services to the Christoffel Blinden Mission International (CBM)” and sent via email to [email protected]. For example, the Blinden Mission International (CBM), 2 hard copy submission of the response to the call can also be made to the address below:
