AUCTIONING OF PROJECT ASSETS
Action Against Hunger tackles the causes and effects of hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable children, women and men.
Established in France 1979, Action Against Hunger are a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization.
Action Against Hunger (AAH), in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in Nigeria, is seeking for reputable auctioneer to auction assets procured through FCDO’s funding under the auspices of the project scaling up of Nutrition in Yobe (SUNNY) implemented by Action Against hunger in Yobe State Nigeria.
All interested Auctioneer should send Expression of Interest electronically from Monday, 6th of November 2023 to: [email protected] with subject ‘PROJECT ASSETS AUCTIONING’ in order to receive the full ToR.
Proposal without request of the full ToR will not be accepted. The prospective Auctioneer is expected to submit a brief methodology with concept note while responding to this expression of interest (EOI).
GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE COVERED
Yobe states and Abuja Nigeria.
EXPECTATIONS FROM THE AUCTIONEER
1.1. The auctioneer should be legally authorized to perform public auctions in Nigeria and provide original written proof of this.
1.2. The Auctioneer is required to prevent any collusion or other anti-competitive practice (such as fraud or corruption) that could result in the lowering of bids and to ensure transparency and integrity of the auction process.
1.3. The auctioneer is required to ensure that the auction is conducted with maximum participation of the public.
1.4. The auctioneering service provider (The Auctioneer) will act as intermediary in all auction transactions and perform all activities involved in preparing the auction, conducting the auction and collection of monies committed by the successful bidders, as well as providing a full report of all transactions resulting from the auction.
Note: The sending of full ToR will commence from Monday, 6th of November, 2023 until the deadline of the submissions to all expressions of interest from prospective Auctioneer and submission of proposals will be on or before Monday, 13th of November 2023 by 12 noon.
