ENGAGEMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDER FOR CASH DISTRIBUTION IN TARABA STATE
PROSELL is improving food security and livelihoods of poor farming households in 80 rural communities in six LGAs of Taraba state. The Project has been strengthening the capacities of over 40,000 households who rely on agriculture and natural resource-based livelihoods through best practice knowledge transfer, household/productive assets transfer, financial inclusion services, linkages to efficient market systems and social safety programs, among others. PROSELL intervention is contributing to an improved food security situation across the communities as more food are produced for household consumption and for enhanced household income generation.
The overall objective of PROSELL is to build the resilience of small-scale farmers, fishermen and livestock owners in commodity value chain and rural enterprise in Taraba state of northern Nigeria. The Project will benefit 40,000 extremely vulnerable households including women, youth, and vulnerable persons in six LGAs of Taraba state namely Ardo Kola, Donga, Kurmi, Takum, Wukari and Zing LGAs.
