EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR INCLUSION IN THE WFP’S VENDOR ROSTER

United Nations World Food Programme Nigeria Office (WFP) is interested in diversifying its vendor roster by adding new suppliers/service providers who can offer the following at the most competitive prices.

Category A:  Priority Goods and Services Vendor categories.
1. Third party Monitoring Services for its projects in the North-East and North-West of Nigeria (to conduct routine process Monitoring and operationalizing WFP’s commitment to accountability to affected population.

2. Car Hire Services (Locations: Abuja, Northeast and Northwest)
The company must have a physical office/premises where the services are required and readily available vehicles to be deployed (Abuja, Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi and Gombe.

3. Facilities Management Services
The facility management and maintenance service provider will provide operational and maintenance services on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis to WFP and will be directly responsible for ensuring operational services levels and satisfactory performance. The service provider is responsible for periodic routine preventive maintenance and repair in the various WFP facilities in Maiduguri, Damaturu and other locations that may be required.

4. Solar power solutions
The overall objective for WFP is to reduce dependency on the diesel generators for provision of its electricity needs, A solar PV and battery system should be implemented at each of the six sites to provide for a major part of the electricity, in a hybrid configuration with diesel generators and potential future grid connection. Interested candidates must indicate services as subject of the application, and expression of interest reference WFP-SC-ANJ-EOI-2023-003- Category A and B.
Interested firms should request for the EOI questionnaire, registration forms and list of pre-qualification requirements for categories A and B by writing to [email protected] no later than 1200hrs 28 July, 2023.
Firms are advised to thoroughly review the instructions along with the annexed documents and complete (typewritten) the vendor registration form (MS Excel format).

Completed registration forms, duly signed, and stamped, along with the requested supporting documents must reach WFP in soft copy, no later than 11 August 2023 (1600 hours local time), by email via the following email address. [email protected]
All requested documentation will only be accepted in soft copy, submitted to the email above. Hard copies will not be accepted via courier service.
Firms can apply for registration under more than one category, subject to the profile compliance with food items, goods and services of the relevant category(ies).

No application will be entertained without receipt of duly signed and stamped soft copies, via the provided email address, of the requested documents by 11 August 2023 (1600 hours). Incomplete applications will also be rejected.
All application will be screened to ensure that they comply with WFP’s criteria for registration as a potential vendor This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require proposals and prices at this stage; we merely seek your expression of interest for working with WFP as a potential supplier of goods and services.

Due to the high volume of communications, WFP will not issue confirmation of receipt of the EOI and no further details of the planned tender(s) can be made available for vendors prior to issuance of the formal solicitation documents.
A response to this Request for Expression of Interest does not constitute inclusion in the WFP vendor raster or shortlisting for a tender.
