SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, Malaria tuberculosis, cancer, and other diseases. CHAI has, since 2007, collaborated with the Federal Government of Nigeria to expand access to HIV care and treatment for people living with HIV in the country making donations worth over $40 Million USD of antiretroviral for children and test kits for early infant diagnosis. To date, this collaboration has expanded to programs that include support for the Affordable Medicines Facility for malaria (AMFm), Routine Immunization, the scale-up of essential childhood medicines, sexual and reproductive health, cervical cancer, and Nutrition. The Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRIN) Project, with USS 232 million financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and Global Financing Facility (GFF), aims to increase utilization of quality, cost-effective nutrition services for pregnant and lactating women, adolescent girls and children under five years of age in twelve, geographically representative, high malnutrition burden states of Nigeria. It proposes to achieve its development objective through two components, namely: (i) Basic package of nutrition services; and (ii) Stewardship and Project Management.
CHAI is one of the partners supporting the delivery of this Basic Package of Nutrition Services (BPNS) in Kano state and, has been contracted by the ANRIN program in Kano state as a non-state actor (NSA) to deploy this BPNS and to implement this performance-based project in LOT-2 comprising of 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) with a total population of 3,482,923
CHAI is pleased to invite interested and capable Organizations to submit proposals to supply nutrition commodities to Kano State Interested organizations can send their proposals based on the services provided, hospitals and locations covered electronically to CHAI Nigeria Procurement at ([email protected] ) by 18.00 Hours WAT (6:00pm) on 18 February, 2023.
Interested vendors shall submit their proposals electronically with this reference in the subject “ANRIN NUTRITION COMMODITIES KANO/001/2023” to [email protected] addressed in the following manner:
