The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH: through its “GIZ APSA PROJECT” Financed by the German Government, cordially invites interested and qualified consultants to submit their technical and financial offers:
• LOGISTICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THE TRAINING ON MHPSS IN MAIDUGURI (01.03.2023)
The GIZ project “support to the African Union on crisis prevention, conflict management and peace consolidation under the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA) supports the African Union (AU) in using instruments of the African Peace and Security Architecture and the African Governance Architecture (AGA) coherently in its member state. As part of this, the GIZ APSA project supports the Crisis Management and Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Development (CMPCRD) division, including its activities in the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) and the AU adopted in 2018.
Based on the need for psychosocial support services in the Lake Chad Basin region, the CMPCRD division, together with LCBC and GIZ APSA developed a training curriculum on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in the lake Chad Basin. This training curriculum will now be implemented Maiduguri, Nigeria from 22.03.2023 to 27.03.2023. To support the logistical processes for the training in Maiduguri, GIZ is searching for an event management firm or a travel agency to provide the following services:
• Renting a training location and necessary equipment
• Organizing the catering during the training
• Coordinating travel logistics for the participants arriving from Yobe State of Adamawa state (bus tickets and accommodation)
• Provision of training materials (printed materials and consumables)
• Support during the implementation of the training (e.g registration of participants).
Accordingly, GIZ invites interested and qualified consultants to send an email with the subject “Expression of Interest – 83430629” to [email protected] expressing your interest to participate in the tender process and requesting the bid documents on or before 5th February 2023.
GIZ Nigeria will send complete tender document to bidders who express interest on the 6th of February 2023, the consultants will submit the following as part of their application:
• Technical offer: including cover letter, description of approach to complete the tasks, described above, step/timeline of works and CV
• Financial offer in Nigeria
The technical and financial offers should be submitted separately. All interested consultants should submit the aforementioned documents either as hard copy in a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at No. 12 Charles de Gaulle Close, Asokoro, Abuja.
