WFP has its Headquarters located in Via C.G viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy and the Nigeria Country office is located at the Plaza, no.23 Ibrahim Tahir, cadastral zone BO5, Utako, Abuja, Nigeria.
1. Background
WFP Nigeria country office (NGCO) is hereby seeking submission of expression of interest (EOI) from qualified and interested Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firms for the provision of design, engineering and civil works related services as and when requested in Abuja, Maiduguri, Damaturu and other WFP locations within Nigeria. The services to be provided will include, but not limited to Architecture, Engineering and construction services. Often WFP NGCO construction projects requires Minor to major renovation works, construction repair work in various facilities and construction of Helipads/Hungers/Ramp. Thus, the aim of this EOI to register commercial construction companies that have strong capacity and capability in minor to major renovation work and complex construction projects.
2. REQUEST FOR THE EOI PACKAGE (VCQA)
All interested applicants are required to send an email to [email protected] request for the Vendor Capacity Assessment Questionnaire (VCAQ) and other related documents, by 4th November 2022, to be completed and returned alongside the requirements listed below:
3. VENDOR CAPACITY ASSESSMENT QUESTIONAIRE (VCAQ)
For the purpose of this EOI FP has drafted a Vendor Capacity Assessment Questionnaire (VCQA) that needs to be filled and returned to WFP by the interested AEC Firms. This VCQA has following sections to be completed and returned by the interested AECS:

Section D to G: Technical Capabilities of the Firm

• Technical Capabilities – Human Resources

Section H: Construction Methodology
This Vendor Capacity Assessment Questionnaire can be requested by sending an email at [email protected] with the Email Subject: WFP-SC-ABJ-EOI-2022-003 EOI for Construction Services.
4. SUBMISSION OF EOI
All documents should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] no later than 17:00 hour 14th November 2022 with the subject WFP-SC-ABJ-EO1-2022-003 – EOI for Construction Services attaching all scanned supporting documents required. Note: If all documents combined are above 12 Mbps, kindly send the documents in batches.
Deadline for submission of EOI is 14th November 2022, 17:00 hour Nigeria Time

Also note that, this is only an Expression of Interest and does not bind the United Nations World Food Programme to issue any tenders or contracts to the companies expressing their interest.
