FOR ENDLINE EVALUATION OF LIVELIHOOD AND NUTRITIONAL EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

The Livelihoods and Nutritional Empowerment (LINE) Project is a five-year initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada and is being implemented by Oxfam in Nigeria. The project was granted two years no cost extension (NCE). The project aims to improve the livelihoods of 10,000 rural farmer households, out of which 60% of the beneficiaries are women, through increased farm productivity, enhanced market access, better nutrition, and an improved/enhanced enabling environment for agricultural business development. The Project is being carried out in six (6) out of the twenty (20) Local Government Areas (LGA) of Bauchi State, namely Tafawa Balewa and Alkaleri in Bauchi South, Ningi and Darazo in Bauchi Central, and Gamawa and Shira in Bauchi North state for the period of five-year years. The Project aims to increase productivity by training farmers on improved agricultural practices and enabling better access to markets through facilitating effective business linkages with key private sector players to define and ensure that market competitiveness is encouraged.

Please note that OXFAM will deduct and remit to the Federal Inland Revenue (FIR) a 5% withholding Tax for a freelancer or 10% for firms from the total consultancy fees in accordance with the Nigerian Tax Law.
