PRE-QUALIFICATION OF FOOD RETAILERS AND WHOLESALERS FOR WFP NIGERIA

In 2001, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Nigeria served 1.2 Million people with cash-based assistance. The total value of WFP assistance received through cash transfers in the country was USD 7.1 million. WFP serves these people with electronics vouchers which are redeemable at over 200 WFP- contracted shops.
The WFP Office in Maiduguri, Borno States, Nigeria would like to contract retailers in markets around Shani for an electronic voucher programme. These shops would serve WFP beneficiaries as customers.
Retailers must have registered shops (must provide the CAC certificate), valid trading licenses, permanent/semi-permanent shops in the Markets of SHANI. Contracted retailers must also be able to provide food items to customers with a fair price, quality, assortment, and service
Interested retailers are requested to fill and submit the EOI registration form via email to [email protected] citing the reference number as the subject of the mail on or before 19th September 2022. After registration, retailers will be assessed and selected by WFP for eligibility to be contracted. Retailers without CAC Certificate, LGA Membership and physical shop(s) will be assessed/selected.
